Alistair Macdonald
Having studied at college in Chancery Lane and completed his articles in central London, Alistair qualified as a solicitor in 1985. He decided his future lay outside the Capital, and, having applied for a number of positions around the country, decided to practice in the Garden of England. He took a year’s sabbatical to travel the world, before returning to Kent, where he got married, and subsequently had two children. He has always specialised in matrimonial work, enjoying the variety of the work it provides. He is also a trained mediator, an area he is keen to develop further. Interests outside of work include running, cycling, gardening, historical reading and carving – in all manner of materials.
