Victoria Hubbert
A Partner at Robinsons, Victoria is Head of the Personal Injury Team. She trained at a leading Trade Union Firm, Rowley Ashworth in London, where she was able to work with some of the most prominent lawyers in her chosen field. She qualified as a Solicitor in September 2001. On leaving Rowley Ashworth in late 2003, Victoria enjoyed a brief stint at a Provincial Firm based in Tunbridge Wells before joining Robinsons. Victoria deals with high value claims including Fatal Accident and serious injury cases.
Tony Sampson
Tony has practiced in the field of Personal Injury for over 30 years. During that period, having worked for some of the leading practices in the country. He deals with all types of injury work arising from Road Traffic Accidents Injuries at work to tripping and slipping claims he also deals with occupational health and medical negligence and Criminal Injuries issues. He has acted for Dockyard and Steelworkers who have suffered crippling occupational diseases such as asbestosis and deafness. He has represented Claimants in some high profile accident litigation such as the Piper Alpha Disaster and the Clapham Junction and Kings Cross incidents.
He has appeared for injured clients in Courts, Tribunals, Inquests and Inquiries to achieve results for his clients. We has a working knowledge of the Scottish legal system and some European jurisdictions and has also worked on and negotiated Mid Atlantic Settlements with American Lawyers.
He has a special interest in the relationship between physical injuries and the effect that those injuries have on a person’s mental wellbeing and has worked closely with leading psychiatrists and psychologists to understand this difficult area.
Tony is an active member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers having been a member from its very early years and was, for some time, secretary of its occupational topics and a Law Society Panel Member
Tony is a keen sportsman having played hockey. He now umpires and plays golf regularly. When he has the time he is a keen DIYer.
Nigel McDavid
Litigation executive with 30 years experience in civil litigation in High Court and County Court cases. Initially Nigel worked for a firm in the city of London in their litigation department before moving to Kent where has now worked for 25 years. Nigel has 10 years experience in personal injury claimant work dealing with road traffic claims, employers and occupiers liability, slip and trip and medical negligence cases. In his spare time Nigel is a keen supporter of Southampton FC and also runs his own walking club. |
